Starting in a garage, Leigh and his brother have since grown Safetyline Jalousie to a 2,000m2 factory in Sydney, providing louvre windows to residential, commercial and government projects nationwide.

GREATEST LESSON(S) IN BUSINESS:
A key lesson I’ve learnt in business is the importance of building a great team you can trust, and the importance of treating them well so they stick around. At Safetyline we treat our staff like family and some of them have been with us for over 10 years, which is a great testament to the culture we’ve developed.

Through CUB I’ve made some great connections with others in my field. I recently met another director of a manufacturing company, with whom I now have involved as a founding member in a sustainability movement I’m establishing – Suppliers Declare.
