The role

2 Connect the community- Ensure your members build valuable relationships by facilitating introduction, hosting intimate gatherings and attending CUB’s many monthly events.

(CUB) Club of United Business is currently searching for a Community Manager to join our passionate and ambitious team as we connect Australia’s top entrepreneurs and business leaders.

CUB is a private members club on a mission to unite Australia’s entrepreneurs and leaders, allowing them to build valuable relationships that can assist in the achievement of their ambitions. With Clubhouses in both Sydney and Melbourne, CUB is opening another 10 Clubhouses in the next five years and is growing a close knit team dedicated to seeing this mission become a reality.

As Community Manager, your role is to ensure that members are constantly engaged in the club’s services and gaining value from their membership. You will achieve this by providing the members with a frequent and diverse event schedule, allowing them the opportunity to connect with other business leaders.

You will also manage the engagement reporting and ensure that the membership team is constantly in communication with the members.

The Mission

To create and execute a marketing plan that delivers on the Club’s membership growth goals and to build the CUB brand to become Australia’s brand for entrepreneurship and business.

Core Responsibilities
– Build and execute a strategic marketing plan, correctly positioning the CUB brand and delivering on our growth goals
– Focus on digital marketing, both organic and paid, across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google and LinkedIn
– Develop and execute a referral based marketing system
– Develop and execute a member communication system, ensuring members are always knowledgeable about the latest club updates and news
– Develop and execute an email marketing system towards potential members
– Communicate the CUB brand and market position
– Work in collaboration with the sales team in order to achieve sales targets

Your day to day responsibilities will involve the daily execution and management of the above responsibilities, executing the marketing plan throughout the year.

The successful candidate will
• Have a minimum of three years’ experience in marketing management, campaign creation and execution.
• Be an expert in digital marketing with a proven track record for success
• Enjoy working in a close knit team that values family and ambition above all
• Be a motivated individual who prides yourself in your expertise in marketing and drive to achieve autonomously.

As the first impression and friendly face of the club, your role as Reception & Events Administrative Assistant is to be client-focused and eager to provide a high level of service. You will achieve this by meeting and greeting all members and guests into the club with a friendly and professional manner, managing the front desk, room bookings as well as assisting with the process, execution and delivery of all our member events.

As Receptionist / Events & Marketing Assistant you will have the unique opportunity too:

• To be onsite executing club events and assisting where necessary
• Work with the clubhouse and membership team to ensure the best possible experiences for members
• Overseeing and managing social media platforms

Your key traits and experience must be:
• Excellent presentation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Impeccable organisational skills
• Be able to take the initiative and multitask in a face-paced environment
• Possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, and be willing to take on whatever tasks are delegated to you
• Be technologically proficient, MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills are essential
• Have an excellent eye for detail
• Experience in reception work is essential

You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential members. You are the first point of contact for all CUB’s leads and enquires and will utilise your strong administrative and organisational skills to assist the membership directors with club growth.

– Contacting, qualifying and scheduling leads from marketing campaigns
– Assisting the membership team with the sales process and administration
– Management of sales calendar, appointments and reporting
